On Friday Audrey turned 6 months!!
It seems that time is passing faster and faster. In just another 6 months I'm going to be chasing around a 1 year old! Audrey is SO much fun at this age and is really developing an awesome personality. She makes us laugh and smile all day long.

The Phoenix Public Library offers a "baby story time" on Wednesday mornings where babies from birth to 23 months come together to read stories, play with bubbles, sing songs and listen to music. It was a lot of fun for both Audrey and myself. It gives her a chance to interact with other babies and for me to mingle with other mothers. I have learned to really appreciate adult conversations after talking to a baby all day. I invited my friend Tirzah and her son Eli to join us at the library and I think they had a good time together!
Now that Audrey is sitting up by herself really well and is a bit bigger now we've been walking to the park in the late afternoon to play on the swings. The swings are still a soothing thing for Audrey so she sometimes starts to doze off. She holds on really tight, it's pretty cute!

She can sit in the actual stroller now, although it's still a little big.

This weekend was also very busy for Matt & I at church. We were part of the Easter drama and performed at 6 services in 3 days. It was really great for us to volunteer our time and we both enjoyed being part of it. The drama was a re-enactment of the crucifixion of Jesus. It was set to a song called Hero by Abandon and was very powerful. Our part of the production was called "stage changers." We spread out some oats to make a path for Jesus to walk and then we also swept up the bread and veggies that the people threw at Jesus. Our part was small which was helpful since we had Audrey with us for two of the rehearsals. During the services we had to check Audrey into the church nursery which we hadn't done until now so it was pretty overwhelming for her. She cried a lot but we really want her to get used to being with other people and babies. The women who serve in the nursery are so patient and awesome! We are going to keep trying and trying and hope Audrey will start to enjoy her time away from us.
